Hey all a buddy of mine just contacted me saying he got his hands on a helix 5 fish finder but it has no power cable or ice transducer... I thought I had read a post on here before about where you can purchase these parts just cant remember the post or where abouts to get it other than amazon which is ridiculous in shipping.... any way on behalf of him thanks for any advice

^ what they all said. sail, CT and radio world. All helix5 units come with at least one type of transducer and one power cable. so something is not adding up here, unless its a used unit that was brought without the two components knowingly.

Yup the XI 9 20 ice ducer you need for that is on sale at Crappy Tire for 101.99. They are backordered so to find one is a needle in a haystack during peak season. I managed to find one for my Helix 5 at a local CT. If anyone can find any left they have the Helix 5 Sonar for 159 and the Helix 5 Di for 292 on in store clearance at CT. Tight lines everyone!

He must have got a used one. Yes, Sail should have them. I bought about a month ago an ice ducer and extra power cable there for my Helix 5 soft water set up to be used on a hard water.

I have no idea how he got his hands on it he does a lot of trades with automotive parts custom build parts and such I would assume that's where it came from in some swing deal ... he not one 2 steal makes a ton of dough way more then I will ever see haha... also he is very new to fishing in general so probably was unaware of the unit not being complete still not sure... ill let him know all the places I thought this post might get some backlash but again thanks for the info there all
