Had a chance to hit the lake this morning. What I found was a sloppy mess of slush and water everywhere.The ice seamed to be holding up with 4 to 5 inches in most areas. Started fishing in 90 fow but wasn't marking much, so decided to move in a little shallower, couple of bumps but no luck. Back out to the deep water where things started to pick up a little. The bite was light and slow for most of the day. Managed to ice two whities and a 2lb eater size laker. Might try and give vb a go in the morning. I'll report back with an update and conditions.
