Made it out in bush yesterday and got this batch of goodies. Also caught 20 Bluegils to go with them. Any suggestions on morel preparation/recipes you'd care to share? I was just going to fry them in some garlic butter or just butter with a bit of salt.

I just soak them in salt water for a while (draws any bugs out) then rinse good and fry them in butter.

Dredge with flour salt pepper. Fry in butter. Super important to get the butter and the pan up to high temp before you put the morels in the pan, and dont crowd them. There should be space beteeen ewch of them in the pan. Best to do them in two batches if you must. This way they get a nice crisp. Also, if you do soak them, give them a light towel dry and make sure they arent wet when you go to cook them. If the are the flour wont crisp. Its the small details that matter. Nice score BTW
