Went out with a couple of the boys on a local lake just outside of Peterborough to target some Northern Pike. Caught a bunch of fish on tip ups and lures. Most of them were small but nonetheless they were wacked. Just happy we caught some targeted fish! Can't wait to fry these bad boys up! Ice was nice and thick...at least 10 inches of black ice and 2 or 3 inches of pack on top. Obviously lots of water on top but still safe!

It was a nice Northern Pike. Measured at 30 inches and weighed in at 9 lbs or so. Stomach was full of Perch, Bluegill and a pile of Shiners. Must have been the bugger stealing our minnows! Lol.

Nice catch. I live in Peterborough and would love to get some pointers to where I can catch some pike within a short drive.
