Good day on Scugog

Fished Scugog today all day got on the ice at 830 am and started fishing, it took a few hours of hole hopping and moving around areas until we finally found some schools of perch, caught 4 that were 9 inches and a bunch of tiny ones, started moving around again which wasn't easy today with the high winds, but found a spot and settled in for the evening bite, shorty after I get a big hit and pull up a nice 12 inch perch, 5 minutes later and an even bigger hit up comes a huge crappie but the hook popped out at the hole and I had go reach down and get my gloves soaked but luckily I grabbed her, a 13 inch crappies that was very close to being the one that got away. Packed it in at 6 and went home, my most successful panfish trip so far this season!

Nice job FB. I decided to hit up simcoe today. The winds were definately nasty but helped lower the amount of fisherman on the ice.
