Pigeon Lake Ice Conditions, Updates?

Anyone have an ice report for Pigeon Lake?

I drilled a couple holes on Pigeon River yesterday about 20 feet from shore near Emily Park and there was 5-6 inches of ice there.

Was there any water under the ice 20th off shore near Emily park ??? Surprised there was 5inches to freeze

There was but likely not much as the water is only about 2 feet deep there in the summer.

Any updates? Anyone been out?

Im going to head out on Pigeon River on Saturday. I just moved to the area back in the summer and don't know if the ice fishing is any good but i'm going to give it a shot. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Have about 8 or 9" of ice 3" of black very solid still and tons of snowmobiles on the lake

I got out on Pigeon River and drilled a couple holes today. I drilled one 50ft from shore and another one about 100ft from shore. Both holes there was only 4" of ice so I didn't end up doing any fishing today. I was hoping for at least 6" of ice but 4" seems a bit risky.

Just wondering if anybody has been out on Pigeon or Little/Big Bald lately and knows how the ice is doing? TIA

Had about 12-13" half black half white ice up near the top of big island. Spent all of yesterday out there and Tried 20 feet and 10 feet of water but didn't catch or even mark a single fish lol
