Is there any lake that holds a good number of burbot that someone could point me in. Hooked a tank on simcoe a few weeks ago and lost it at the hole. Can't get it out of my head and it is now becoming I but of an obsession to ice a burbot. I was perch fishing and it was a fluke. It was also the only one I've ever hooked and I would like to cross it off the bucket list. Thanks

If you are talking Ling, Lake Nipissing has always produced for me. Especially in the evening and after dark.

Try fishing for burbot evenings in March in 40 fow or so when they are spawning. Lake of Bays has a good population.
