The two of us fished from wed afternoon to sat morning and overall the fishing was a little on the slow side. Thursday and friday were the best for us. We fished for the most part in jeff's honey hole which was in about 42 feet of water. we found that the perch were bigger in the deeper water. we caught over 100 perch, of which we kept about 65 with some really nice jumbos . We caught 18 walleyes, For some reason we did not get any walleyes that were over 13 inches. We kept only 8 of them as the rest were too small. We also caught a 4 pound smallmouth bass, a silver bass that was 3-1/2 pound, two medium sized ling and last but not least a lonely mudpuppy. The fish were very finicky and we had to workhard for everything we caught. Thanks to jeff for a good time and decent fishing. I asked Jeff to take a few pictures and post them for me, so You can see a little of what we caught.

Thanks for the report .

I was hoping to hear better, but you did well enough as it sounded like a tougher bite all around last week.

There seeems to be tons of under slot size fish..that be good, but where ae the slot sizers?????? hmmm, I wonder not

Jeff's area seems to produce more smallies than anywhere else during the winter and they are a pleasant surprise for sure.

Guess that's a wrap for you for this season up there as well as myself.......already looking forward to next year though!
