Balsam Lake, Anything Happening out there?

Due to the slush and warm weather we didn't get the opportunity to wet a line. Just hung out around the cottage with the kids driving the sled in circles around the field. Spoke to a few people that did get the chance to fish. One had caught and released a decent walleye. but other than that nothing. not even bites... the hunt continues...

We got out for a couple of hours on Friday and the rain drove us off the ice. Went home for some refreshment. On Saturday one of the guys checked the lake and found the walking worse than Friday and he figured the kids would be soaked in the 3 inches of water on the lake. We stayed at the house and had a great day talking and drinking. 3 of the guys did a little touring on the ATVs. No fish for us.
