I only tried Redmond bay. I'm not very familiar with the other parts of the lake. Where do you recommend I try?

Hey Cirinnaf, I would say when u come out from redmonds turn left and walk towards the middle of the lake, there is a deeper part there that goes from 19 to 28 ft of water, or go to brook bay close to the marina jacks lake lodge, there is a island there, crappies and walleye 25 to 38 ft of water, hope this can help, I just got back from simcoe, marked lots of fish had 5 followers and nothing

Hi Hooknup
it's a fairly deep lake in parts so I can say yes, but if you drive towards the marina jacks lake lodge, they might be able to help you out on that, did you ever fished there ?

Hi Rod I fish Jack in the summer and fall for muskie for about a decade but have only fished it once in the winter and did not catch anything.. It is difficult to get accurate ice conditions or the lake so have not been up this year . Do you know if you can fish sharpes bay in the winter ?

Hey hooknup,
I think sharpes bay is open, maybe you should check on regulations for jacks lake, I don't want to give you the wrong information...

Sharpes is open, as in regs however not sure on ice conditions. The narrows never really freezes solid due to current. avoid the narrows at all costs!

Good Luck!
