Moira lake

Was thinking about a trip out to Moira lake since it was a lake I fished when I was a kid don't remember what I got out of it what's every one got from there and has anyone been there lately?

I use the Fish On-Line tool the government has on the Internet to find fish species, stocking info and last confirmed catch of fish by the ministry. Here is what I found for Moira Lake in the pic attached. my father ice fished there with my grandpa when he was young as well. I hear it is a good lake.

Moira has been pretty good for some smaller pics and some good perch. Nothing huge except the 15lb pike I got the other day. Best time most days has been between 3-6pm. Good luck

That's a nice pikey well I know iv never pulled something that big out of there when I was a kid lol I haven't been up that ways in like 18years plus could you give me a PM with more information

perch are always biting on moira thats for sure!!!! we are getting smaller pickeral and pike as well.

are you fishing the lake or the river bassnbows ?

I've been fishing by the narrows, it's been pretty productive most days out.

Can you let me know what is the best place to access the ice for some perch or pike. I will be driving from Peterborough

Just take hwy 7 and go south on hwy 62. Go through the town of Madoc and continue south for a few and you will see a little parking lot at the launch on your right. Good luck

I was out today for a few hrs and hit a few small pics. and one 16.5 and missed a few good hits also. Hit them all on spoons/minnow.

Just a heads for this weekend out at Moira lake.

Well looks like my trip will not happen with surgery coming soon I have to stay closer to home lakes so I get more fish time

I will be in the derby and meeting up with Chuck first thing in the morning
