My stomach turns each time I check this tread... so excited! The sound of the outboard running and the boat making wakes on those calm mornings... first cast into the water and float goes down! Common global warming... show you truely exist and get us out mid march!

This week at bass pro I'm purchasing a trolling motor, marine battery, and the front trolling seat. I purchased the Lowrance Hook 7 on black friday last year. I have to install my casting deck on my 14ft tinner too. Lots of work needed but I cant wait to get it all started. no more anchoring in one spot or random wind drifts for me

Hoping to get it at the end of march or so this year. It is stored up at my cottage in Haliburton. Once enough snow has melted up there on the property we can go get it lol. Got some work to do installing running and nav lights.
Hoping for early ice out this year and get out for some pike until lakers open again.

I got home tonight and my dock is clear of ice. The warm breeze really did it's work today. The weather guessers are calling for a bit of a cold snap this weekend, so I'll wait a week. Maybe!

The Trent is frozen right across again. The weather guessers are calling for a big storm on Monday through Tuesday. This winter doesn't want to hang it up. Oh well, I might get the sled out for the first time this season.

That little cold snap turned into a 2 week punch in the face.

I'll be splashing this weekend.
