Well, Im usually closest to simcoe, but I'll be near Chemong and Rice lake on the weekend.
Just wondering if there is any "safe" or half decent ice I would walk out to and get on some fish. Just looking for some entertainment/ action.
Would really appreciate any places to walk out from. I can trade info for Lake simcoe, and places for rainbows/salmon.
EDIT: scratch that, not attempting another ice trip, if anyone has any open water fishing spots ( even tiny fish will do) for some bluegill or perch, I would appreciate it. Maybe even a rive or something. THanks

I would stay off the ice now, check my post on chemong from yesterday. The lakes will be opened within 2 weeks with the rainy and mild long range forecast coming up!
