Dalhousie, are you allowed to launch a small boat?

Fry Group: Members Posts: 32 Member No.: 9599 Joined: June 05, 2015	are boats allowed in dalhousie? im just wondering if it is possible to launch a smaller boat in port dalhousie this time of year, because of the regulations of zone 16 closing all of the inland lakes. i need to take my boat out saturday for a test and figure its the best place to launch a small boat thanks for any help you can give me.

Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 329 Member No.: 3164 Joined: January 24, 2013	Port Dalhousie Harbour is actually zone 20 up to the dam, so you can fish Trout all year and launch all winter, but like mentioned the docks are being put in Saturday morning. They do leave 1 dock in during the winter months for people to launch

Alevin Group: Newbies Posts: 15 Member No.: 13068 Joined: January 11, 2017	The zone regulations have nothing to do with launching a boat. From what I read, you just want to test drive your boat correct? If so you can do that almost anywhere all year long.
