Just found this board and its great!
I fish Nipissing a few times a year and will post reports when I go. Fishing these past few days and it has been slow!!!! Small perch and small walleye only biters. Operator said it was the pressure change and this time of year things slow down.

Welcome.

yes, pressure chages cn impact the fishing..problem is we mostly have to book well ahead of time so it will alwys be a crap shoot.

This year, with the abnormal winter mild temps, we have been fortunate enough to hit the right weather on 2 trips so far.

Got back from my trip up to Nipissing. It was a pretty decent trip other than the nasty wind Saturday morning. Moved around lots and managed to catch a few fish. In total we got about 50 perch 15 walleye 3 small mouth bass nice size actually and a ling. Unfortunately the walleye where small for the most part got 2 keepers anyway did end up keeping around 8 decent sized perch aswell. Atleast its nice to see that the lake has good fish for years to come. As for depth best luck was 27-35 feet tryed shallow and deeper still got some fish but not the same numbers as the mid range. All in all it was a good trip!

Tight Lines!

Heading up tomorrow morning , going to Grump & Grumpy,s so I hope the fish are hungry. We have one Young fellow that has never ice fished so I would like to see him get into them.
