Temagami, My version

Perfect ,Perfect !! beautiful weather ,travel was great ,caught our limits of whities and trout up to 15 #


Now for "Reality"

Tuesday , the long drive up ,all ok just a little messy


"Wedesday" Temps rose to stupid ,Left town heading for cottage.....Slush got worse and worse ,Got to within 1/2 km and thought best to hoof it "WRONG"...slush past your boots ...back on machines ..pin it ,dig out machines 3 or 5 times..fun ..Finally at cottage for supper , O well tomorrow will be better ..

"WRONG" Look out at lake , where are the boats ??now we've got 6" of water as far as the eye can see ,over top of 12" of slush ... OK it's a good day to drink beer and watch the ripples on the water.

Finally Friday am...."SHES FROZE" Were out and at em...For the day we caught 3 trout and 5 whities ,The trout were small ,to 3# but were caught on a sp chartruse with small twister ,whities on the spreader....weather got bad again ,hwys closed ,more beer

Saturday am ..Net lake derby ...Attendance down 50% ..guess due to prior days weather and the -25 temps..anyway one trout caught...15" about 1.5 # won him $3000 !! I won a draw prize..

All in all ,an typical temagami experience ....But ...we always have fun .."Good" company ,good beer and lots of laughs !!!

That weather is what we had, except we bailed before it froze........

What an you do? it was booked and we went .like you did.

We got some fish and had a fun time.......that is what it's really about in the end.
