first I wanted to say congrats to the guys who got their first muskies. and anyone who got one.
Fished Saturday all day for muskie, did not see a single fish except for a very small muskie (estimation between 18-23") when messing around with a jig near the boat launch waiting for my dad to get in the boat. had this decent sized pumpkinseed on, and this little guy shot out of no where, looked at it, then saw me standing in the water 5-6 feet away and took off just as fast as it had shown itself. very optimistic for this weekend's day trip fishing with mikey.
Definitely felt good to be throwing baits again after the past 6 months.
