Had to work overtime Saturday but as soon as I got home headed to Bewdley. First off no fish in the boat to report so was a disappointing visit. I wouldn't say I'm a regular to Rice but I do visit a few times each season and don't remember the whole lake being this choked so early in the season. I did find some nice weedlines and holes to pitch jigs and crawlers but notta 😫 I was on the water 5-830 moving around the lake went to the Ottonabee just the mouth though at the big shelf marked lots but no takers!! Thought the walleye chop and time of day would be productive... perhaps I can use the excuse that lake was likely packed with Boats and water toys all day spooked my targets lol Well now I switch my focus to BASS, but always prepared to "lookforeyes" FISH ON folks

Dude ! Rice Lake is famous for the mid day bite , 11 - pm Maybe cuz we don't start fishing until 930 am. Harnesses and Victor spoons in 10 to 15 fow usually produce for us.
