Drove from Horseshoe Valley to Meaford along the shore today and then back thru Angus. My wife and I were out for some fiddling and square dancing.
Here is what I observed along the way.

Nottawasaga River at Edenvale (Hwy 26)-High and dirty but not over its banks yet.

Batteaux Creek, Pretty River, Silver Creek, Indian Brook, Beaver River and Big Head River all running high and dirty. Some of them over their banks.

Shore of Nottawasaga Bay-no ice in sight anywhere.

There was a mud line along most of the shore of the Bay that I could see and it was out 300 to 400 yds from shore. Water was very dirty as the rivers and creeks I mentioned were pouring dirty water into the Bay, as well every drainage ditch and water course that flows into the Bay.

Craigleith was interesting. There was the mud line as noted above, but at the North end where it approaches the Park, the mud line had moved in and there was a small pocket where there was clear water within 50ft of shore. Two people were fishing there but I didn't have time to stop and see if they were getting anything.

At Angus, the Notty is over its banks and running fast and dirty.

Hope this helps and depending what happens in the next few days, I may try some Steelheading next week, after things--hopefully--clear somewhat.
