It was extremely tough for me, fished both Sturgeon and Scugog and only caught 1 2lb Largemouth. I tried everything I could think of and the conditions were perfect.

I fished Stoney and we managed 10-12 smallies between two of us.. Nothing over 2lbs though. Nice to be out throwing bass baits again.

We did not too bad caught quite a few largie on buckhorn. The biggest was 3 and a half but unfortunately we couldn't keep her alive.
Most of our fish were in the first hour and a half of the day.

We fished the Tri-Lake tourney out of Curve Lake reserve. Our 5 best weighed 13.85lbs. Not what we had hoped for but we had a good day catching bass. Likely caught 30+ largemouth on surface frogs and soft Swimbaits. We just couldn't find a big one to bump our weight higher for a pay cheque.

Lots of largemouth in pigeon, nothing big though. They were hitting top water all day.

Nothing over 2 lbs on upper buckhorn. Although I was on my dock, can't complain. Didn't get skunked on the opener!

Hitting top water? Man you're lucky. It got windy here on upper at 5am. Wind only died after the rain. Good job man!

I didn't get out to Scugog still around 2pm and only fished for a couple hours but I got skunked. Tried a black spinnerbait in the rain, tried a couple different crankbaits, wacky worm etc... Must have been because of the bass tournament. I bet at least a couple dozen smallies were pulled from my smallie spot and released wherever they have the tournament weigh ins.
