Could not ask for a more perfect day on the ice up there today. There was 10" of excellent ice, and the shore was perfect still. We set up camp at 8:30, immediately had solid hits all the way till 12:00. We landed 6 fish all around 2 lbs. There is probably enough perfect ice to go right to the 31st. Was a great ending to the season for me!

Was there today. Getting a suntan. What an awseome day. At least until the wind started howling. Only caught 2 today but it was great. Talked to a C.O. today who happenens to be my late brother-in-laws nephew. Ne said usually there is still good ice until end of march but didn't think so this year. Supposed to be double digit temps all this week. Might go one last time next weekend though. That will be it because wifey and myself are heading to Niagara Falls following weekend.
