I see in another thread the mnr is looking for the person who abandoned a gill net with 40lbs of fish in it. Whats thst going to lead to a 100$ fine? Yet the ministry is searching sportfishing boats coming off erie daily? They need to pull their heads out of the sand and concentrate more on commercial fishing. 5k is nothing to these guys. I have such little faith in our mnr. Frustrating to hear about all that wasted fish yet as angler i can only possess 6 lake erie walleye. Whos the problem? Rant over

I believe the reason why they fine these commercial fishing company so little is because they bring in tax dollars to the government. That's the only logical reason I can think of. Yet us fisherman/woman get screwed up the @ss again and always and forever

You left out the funny part.... he was only slapped with $7500 in fines and will most likely do it again or have done it many times.

I am beside myself sooooooooooo pisssssssssssssed!
