Giant Simcoe smallmouths

where the hell are they? I have read about these giant fish i have seen pictures been here all week rented a place and fishing nothing! not a single bass caught! some smallish perch no bass! what the hell? anyone catches these supposely giant smallmouths or is it all bs just to get people to come here! fishing sucks!

Really? What a joke now you want me to spend more money to try and catch a fish out of this lake. Already cost us too much money to rent and pay the stupid ramp fees to get our boats out not to mention the cost of minnows. Forget it. Waste of time and money

Yup.

No-one is forcing you to spend any money. You do that on your own accord. Fishing costs money. Pay to play or stay home. It's a huge body of water and you have to know what you are doing. If you are only using minnows to catch bass, try some hardware.

Just because you approached this with such cheer, I will provide a tip.

If you are having a tough time locating fish, cover ground until you find some... in simple terms, troll.

You might troll for hours before finding a good line that holds fish, or you could always use navionics to find high probability areas to troll.

15-20 feet, deep cranks.
