Hi
Retired/disabled guy in Peterborough getting back into the fishing scene after a long and I do mean long absence.
I am going to be doing a lot and I mean pretty much all of my fishing from a bank because I am sans boat. Went fishing for the first time in many years this summer while renting a cottage in Hastings ON I loved it!!
Bought a couple of used poles off Kijiji a few weeks ago and trying to get out
Anyway, look forward to all of the info on this forum and looking to make some new friends along the way

If you are shore fishing Peterborough is definitely a great place to be! Walleye, Muskie, bass, carp and more can all be caught (and big ones at that) without having to leave town or leave the shoreline. Just entering some of the best shoreline fishing of the season now. Head out for the sunset and see what you can get!

Welcome to the board Don, I hope that you enjoy yourself regardless of what body of water you find yourself on.
Remember that fish, especially bass, relate a lot to shoreline structure so if you can find that and fish it well, you'll probably have quite a bit of success.
Enjoy and don't forget to share your adventures with us.
