Noise complaints, damaged property and public urination during fishing season are a few reasons police are enforcing a strict zero-tolerance approach toward overnight parking at Cobourg Creek.
Starting Friday, Sept. 22, a strict zero-tolerance enforcement toward any overnight parking on Tremaine Terrace, Tay Street, Clyde Street, Forth Street and Cedarmere Avenue will be in effect.
A bylaw passed by Cobourg council on Aug. 21 restricts overnight parking from Sept. 1 to Nov. 30 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. on both sides of the streets.
