On the water by 7:30am today off at 3pm, lots of fog, cool, humid and overcast until noonish and then turned hot full sun no breeze. Today we wanted walleye but that never happened. Landed 6 nice buckets all over 4 lbs each. While retrieving a wacky I watched a muskie maybe about 36" to 40" take a run at it grabbed it. Fish on! Fish Off! A few more cast in a different direction I hooked a small bass 1 1/2lbs I was bringing it in and smash that muskie came out like a torpedo nailed it peeled line, I got it back got a good look at its size, the bass never had a chance, all that was visable was a piece of tail. As Im watching this beast it bolts again, this time cutting 60lb braid with its teeth. So cool to see the power and speed of these guys. So sad that the bass had no chance.
