This summer I bought a 14 ft. Alumacraft. I put in floors,live well,10ft. casting deck with 2 pedestal seats,4 storage compartments all marine carpeted,Solar panel,lighting and then put a 2017 25hp. 4 stroke merc. I pull it with my V6 Kia Sportage and don't notice I have a boat behind me. Pulling it up a ramp is no problem.

- 18 ft Aluminum
- 170lb outboard
- custom built plywood fishing platform
- custom built plywood side console
- a lot of gear
- 6 gal gast tank + 20 liter gas can

Towing easily with Chevrolet Venture.

Last year I replaced the Venture with an Uplander 95000km, $5000 and pulls the boat without any problem. I keep a lot of distance between me and the vehicles in front, not only because I tow a boat, but it is a habit of mine.

Usually I launch on concrete ramps but on few occasions I launched on dirt ramps without problems.

It is a cheap vehicle that does the job, but it burns a lot of gas. You can't have them all.

The picture with the small 15HP was just to see if it floats after 20 years of being neglected an then restored by me. Next year, I put the bigger (still small for this boat) 25 HP
