long range forecast says few drops on Wednesday and some Friday! keep fingers cross and do the rain dance...

Raining here in Guelph. Suppose to get up to 10 mm up north owen sound area... should bring in a big run after this weekend.

Very tough this last week with the brutal hot weather only guys in the boats we're getting them, but the cooler weather seems to be here well cooler then 40 anyways lol after the rain today i would say there will be a big run, hopefully I get out Sunday either on boat or in river we'll see what the old man wants too do he hates river fishing because of the crowds but i have lots of success in river and so does he. He just loves fishing on the boat so he doesn't have to deal with idiots lol

Also, Looked at the long range forecast and the week after this week coming up I seen temps are 8 degrees during the day and 2 degrees at night a week of weather like that will bring in the steelhead, I was up in Owen sound last weekend before the Hot weather and I got some Salmon and there was two Rainbows caught so some have already came in to feed off the salmon eggs, not a lot though by any means and when I say two rainbows were caught I mean all weekend.. i have not heard anyone getting Steelhead down south in Lake O tribs so still early for Steelhead but shouldn't take to long its October In a few days love this time of the year bring on the cold weather, another few months I will be on the hard water Cant wait I love Ice fishing probably my favourite kind of fishing

A friend of mine got one steelhead from a river before this hot spell but only one I've heard of

You can see them swimming up the rapids right now and chasing flies at Sauble Falls. Nothing bitting but you know they are there. Huge downpour today will also help. Time to bring out the gloves because by the end of the night, the hands get cold!

um if your waiting for the salmon run your 2 mos late

Not waiting for salmon my friend waiting for them to die and make room went 1/5 Friday off a pier before being stopped by our friendly co's all was good ,good to see them enforcing the slaughter some folk call fishing , made it out for a half hour yesterday and went 1 for 1 on another pier
