Hello again my fine board members.As many of you older members know,my goal in life is to find a 3 pound plus Crappie.
I've been at this hunt for about forty plus years now and have managed lots of two pound fish but have yet to hit the lottery!
This summer has been as hectic as it gets up here in cottage country however it all comes to a close this coming weekend which will give me a lot of time on the water before it ices up.I have been hunting the elusive three pounder the past few weeks on one of my local honey holes on my rare day off or a couple of hours before work.
Up until today the fish have been pretty average with most under a pound.Today however I landed two hogs at 1.75 pounds and 1.50 pounds respectfully.Hogs for sure but not that 3 pounder just yet! Not complaining at all however when you combine two for over 3 pounds!
Had a couple of great helpers with me to assist in the hunt as you'll see in the pics! Hopefully this is the year!!! The hunt continues! Have a Crappie Day!!
