Hi all, We just had are 3 day weekend of the fall on Simcoe. It was a very good trip with fantastic weather. We didn't max are limits but the size were out standing. Plenty of jumbos.
Was a little wierd though. When you started catching the perch it would be on for about 2 hours. Then the bite would stop. Go in for a break came back out late afternoon no bites for awhile, then it would be on again for 2 hours. Talked to other fisherman at the cleaning table and the action was the same. crazy mix of depths, 16 feet, 26 feet and 31 feet. Hoping everyone is having great fishing. Hope to have pic's soon

Roger

Thanks for the report Roger...

Sounds like a fun time and good action.

Jumbos move is schools and come and go in waves.. That would explain the on and off action. Rarely you get them under your boat all day without moving..
