They are probably being used for some other crime.

Someone stole my leaf bags I left for the city to pick them up. They spilled the contents on the road and took the bags with them. kind of a pain in the butt for me to pick my leaves off the road, but someone has to fall on some pretty hard times to have to steal leaf bags.

I miss the old days where I can enjoy peace and nature without being over crowded.

Oh it's about theft. Where I'm from, theif has always been somewhat of an issue. I would never leave anything out that's easily accessed. When someone is so accessible, it really attracts lazy theives who take advantage of the situation.

My suggestion would be to have a dashcam system(front and back) so at least you know if it's your neighbours or not!

Not being too teck savvy, please excuse a possible stupid question. Do dashcams continue to operate when your car is parked and shut off?

I was wondering where the op resides,as we all know it happens everywhere nowadays.

If you wire it to the battery many have a "parking mode" that will turn on if it senses vibration ie your car being hit.

IMO everyone should have one, set and forget, pretty inexpensive compared to what i pay for insurance
