After I had my outing with the crappie king Dbfish and learned some new techniques (thanks again!!) the better half has been bugging me to get out for some crappies. Finally today after a late start we made it out and we were not dissapointed. Lake was like glass and it was the first day we were our survival suits and boy everytime I get one of those on it really makes me crave ice fishing! We landed a lot of fish today with more than enough keepers for an amazing fish fry but one fish stood out the most. 14.5 inch crappie that weighed in at 2lbs on my old rusty spring scale! Was her PB crappie and she couldn't be happier!
