It's a "white world" here at Horseshoe Valley this morning.

Woke up at 7:30AM to -15C temperature and 8-10 inches of snow.

Just getting ready to go and put the snow blower through it's paces.

Picture is looking over my back deck and the bush beyond.

Looks like the chances of a white Christmas in EG is quite high.
Time for me to pack and move to EG!

I enjoy ice fishing too, but I would get tired of -14 with or without wind chill real quick. All I ask for is enough cold for a couple months of safe Ice fishing and then it can bugger right off lol.

Up here in magnetawan only got a couple of inches of snow. But -18c overnight and a lot of the smawps and bays have frozen over. One small lake was skimmed over completely. Vs year without slush would be nice. Water temp on Thursday was 46.5 f and today was 41.1, another cold snap and it should freeze up.
