With the winds down for the next couple of days, it's a toss up between putting the boat away while the weather is still warmer or.... planning a final chase for a feed of perch. No spots being asked here.

We had the last kick at the can today chasing perch, but nada. Launched from barrie and stayed till about 10 with no luck, then decided to try Cooks bay and fished there till about 2 and no luck there either.

Decided to rake leaves this morning to get a few more "points" on the home front -- only have enough right now to maybe go for a bike ride, and not far!
I hope to round up a buddy, which is hard to do on a work day and doubly difficult with a -2oC get-up-and-go forcast.
If not I think I'll pull the plug on the boat season. Sad, eh?!!

I'm not putting my boat away til ice up. Last Thursday we went out to the regular perch spot and right away I hooked into 2 nice pike and no perch to be found. They changed their postal code and moved a little further West. I wonder why 🤔 lmao.

You should consider changing your handle! You are no "fish finder"

Hoping to get out just one more time and properly put the boat to sleep. Maybe this Friday could be it for me.

Very wise suggestion, should have thought a lot to get to this conclusion. I will for sure think about it.
