when do Ice flashers go on sail?, have been planning to buy for a while

ive been calling up basspro about humminbird flashers, but the rep said that they never go on sail, and the best time to buy is right now while they are in stock.

But i recall that some flashers usually go on sail, but forgot when that time was.

Anyone know when the best time to buy an ice flasher is?

Last week...Canadian tire...ice 35 was around $350....about $50 off I believe. They may still honour it...and check radio world...they have different units on sale here and there.

I stay away from rebates for the simple fact that they cost you 13% hst. right off the top.

Narrow down the exact model you want and check online daily. Once you see it $50-$100 off the regular price... jump on it. Never seen them go cheaper then $100 off. Sometimes they have the mail in rebate. The key is to actually mail in the rebate. DOHhhhh!

Rebates grease the tax man and the postal service. I only support point of sale discounts. So my reasoning is this. A $50 dollar rebate is really 50 minus $6.50 in tax and .85 postage so it's really a $42.65 rebate in the end which is yes still a discount.
