About to buy a stradic and can't decide on the 2500 or 3000. Anyone have feedback on the T handle on the 3000's? The only thing making me hesitant about the 3000 is whether the T handle is annoying and causes chafing.

i have the 3000 and it's good for me. T handle gives a bit more area to hold onto which I prefer. Can't go wrong with either imo.

What are you using it for, what lb test line and what type of line?

The larger reels handle heavier lines and flouro line better. The smaller reel weighs less and is easier to use all day. You can't go wrong either way, but you will be happiest if you match the reel size to your intended use.

Thanks for the responses! I still couldn't decide so I just ended up buying one of each

I have 3 2500’s and love each one. Ci4 is super light and the hagane geared beefier Model is damn near bulletproof, can’t go wrong either way

Depends what your use is. I have both and I actually don't find the T handle a large diff.
