Getting on the ice before New Years is a bonus. Last Year my first trip was Jan 14th mid bay and was on 6" ice. Prediciting somwhere First weekend January.

I fly home to New Brunswick on the 7th, as long as I can get at least 2 days of perch fishing Simcoe I will be happy

Last year I was fishing dec 27. I predict same time frame this year if not a bit sooner.

Tues and wed night i am hearing temp could drop to -17c Lets hope there is no wind. the long range to jan 15th all in the minuses lets hope.

Sackville, right on the border with NS. Going to school here, love a lot of things about out east, but I sure do miss simcoe lol

I live on the the south east end of Cook’s and it’s wide open still with a little floating pack ice at shore. Will keep you guys updated
