Braid fishing line, Your opinion wanted

20lb power pro all the way with 15lb stren 100% fluorocarbon leader material. Can't count how many hooks I have straighten or broke off the hook shank with this combo

You should really buy better hooks

I’ve used both power pro or suffix 832 an prefer the 832 in white.

Power pro super slick.

Throw it a long long way.

I use this for my tourney flipping rods in 65lb only because it has the same diameter as 20lb floro and I tie direct.

For my casting rods for spinner baits I use the 20lb power pro super slick with floro leaders.

Wouldn’t use nything else.

I have no issue with tangles ever. The odd back lash comes out like nothing.

I’ve had Suffix 832 on a few of my Stradic’s and it can be a buggar to tie on a windy day

It’s super supple and playable but that can also be a battle

I like the power pro 10-20lb range

Ice braid I like the suffix neon orange

lol, honestly I have no idea the brand of braid on my rod, but I hate it. Takes an awfully long time to untangle, and tangles FREQUENTLY. It IS, however, very strong.

Power Pro 8-10 LB test. Never had ant issues with tangles.

Probably about 80% of my rods ( and there’s a lot ), have flouro on them with a few using mono ( mostly for topwaters). I have a few spinning rods with Suffix 832 in 15-20 lb and a couple frogging rods with 832 in heavier sizes. After a couple of years use, they still cast a mile and are as tough and soft as ever.

Power pro or Berkley Nanofil are my 2 go to.

832 normally but I tried the Seguar Smackdown and its amazing!

I spooled all my summer reels with Spiderwire 20lb white 4 strand braid and use flourocarbon leaders. Like the easy hooksets and seemed to enhance the feel quite a bit. Yes is does tangle easier especially on the baitcasters and is near impossible to untangle compared to mono and flourocarbon. Will try one of my ice reels first to see how it works in the cold with regards to icing up.

i like to run 50lbs power pro on my baitcaster and it is really hard to get it to dig in

I agree with the seguar. They also have Tournament which is smaller diameter than any others i have found. Found the spider wire was exactly that. Like wire. Power pro was ok.

I use power pro on all my rods from 8-50 lb. I will tie on a 3-4 ft fluorocarbon leader depending what I am fishing for or if its a tough bite
