Anybody been able to check the conditions after that warm spell? I'm curious to know how the snow affected the ice growth with it only getting about 2"/2" of good ice/pack ice before it came down. Originally planning on going out on Saturday, but I don't want to venture out if it's sketchy. I'll be making the 2 hour drive up to spud out to some other spots myself if I don't hear any updates, since it's not fair to rely on the locals, but I'd like to know if it's even worth it before making the trek lol

I live on Couchiching-west side. Ice is NOT safe yet. 2 inches over deeper water. Lots of parking at Centennial Park-which is basically downtown Orillia. Ice conditions should improve over next few days as warm spell earlier in week melted a ton of surface snow.
This was a post from another site...Said they would be testing latter today.
