Hey Scott buddy of mine is fishing fanshawe today got there at 145 he hooked up with two eyes his first 2 drops
What in the flying pigs. I guess that’s life! Do you know what he was using? I’ll find depths on my own and spots. I dropped a minnow the other day and sat with no markings on my finder until there was one that hugged the bottom and swept up the minnow. I left shortly after haha.

Between the parking lot and tge people parked on side of hwy 7 there about 35 vehicles. I marked a few before my battery died. Heading to mitchells bay tomorrow.

Ya i didnt mark much. But i didnt move around either. I had to leave early to get my fiance at work. But last time we were out we noticed an increase i hits and marks on the sonar right aroumd 4 as well. Usually over the times ive been there ill get a couple early in the morning maybe 1 or 2 through the mid morn / lunch time and the around 2 starts to pick up but i dont usually stay out there much past 4. Im starting to think maybe staying on the ice till 5 isnt such a bad idea.

We did that on the weekend. Went to Simcoe and couldn’t have asked for more when it came to the bite. Couldn’t entice any jumbos but the fish tv and the bite was hot!

Does anyone have updated ice conditions for the area? A friend from New York is coming up and I was looking at taking him out locally to try to catch something. He has his fishing license already. I was thinking Fanshawe again but if anyone else has recommendations of places where I can get fish for him, then they would be greatly appreciated.

Wildwood. For me it seems like skunked days are far and few in between when I ice fish there. Get into some pike I’m sure your buddy will love it. The perch seem to be hitting better this year also
