Hi all
I am looking for opinions on the camping and fishing Elk Lake Wilderness Resort. We are looking to book a week this summer coming in the area and explore Elk Lake! Any other campgrounds you recommend ?

Stayed there two weeks almost 18 years ago.. It used to B called elk lake cabins..I was just getting into walleye fishing and with some more experience we would have done better/maybe.Lol
We went the end of September and it was cold. Freezing rain and snow we had on a few days.
Seems like the new owners have put some thought into things and i would imagine it's still a great place...
Good luck....

Thanks!
We tow our rv and boat so pretty much self sufficient... just need a lake that has potential! I would love to find an off the grid lake that I can launch a 16 foot side console and live in my trailer for a week ... 30 amp sites and a hot shower are nice tho !! Lol looking forward to a good week !

Marten River provincial park has all you seek... Some awesome lake's all around in that area.. Beautiful clean park as well.. Although the fishing can be tough on the river but there are nice fish to be had in there...
