I am sure some fishing is being done, as the sad casualty just proved it!
My goal is to find safe ice for the Dec. 9 weekend!

I was ice fishing brook trout yesterday . But I would probably not trust the ice I was on till Monday. It was fine yesterday morning then was getting soft before noon. Then 10cm this morning warm and rain tonight cool down tomorrow. Ice was 2 to 4.5 at most . Mostly white soft ice.

Problem is most of the small lakes in the area just skimmed over and then 4-6 inches of snow fell on Saturday. Time will tell but it's not a good start.
