I had a great time today. Seminars were good, got to talk to a few of the local pros and reps, grabbed the st croix mojo ice ultralite, and when I got home the phone rang, telling me I won the Northland Tackle doorprize! Gotta say for making the 1.5 hour drive and not fishing, I left a happy man.

hopefully be back in a week or two for some fishing!

Looks like a portable toilet Harold. Could be good for “crappie”?

Dave.

Lol
You should write if found and your ph# on the inside before you take it out. As soon as you step
Out to do something I can this this zipping accross the lake with only a slight breeze.

That 'prob' can be easily solved!

If it looks like a portable toilet and you put your phone number in it, someone may get the wrong idea...
just sayin'

Thanks for posting a picture of the entire venue. It makes sense for you locals, and maybe GTA folks to go, but this looks too small for me to make a 6-7hr round trip. Even with a stop at Cabela's

For some reason I thought it would be a bigger place...
Anyway I'm a half a dozen beverages into the evening so I'm definitely not going to make it to the expo and if the drinks keep going down so easy dinner is questionable.. Lol...

LMAO!Switch to Excel lol

Here's what I found, made by a co in N Bay. I'm seriously thinking of getting 1: "Pop-up" don't exactly pop up and are a bit of a PITA. Flip-overs are a bit heavy to drag while walking., This might be just the ticket!!!

You could always get one of these and add a top!LMAO I might be on to something here!

Yah I see the (1) tie down strap hanging Harold. I would want a lot more as that thing would be like trying to catch a loose firehose in a decent wind.

Only complaint. The bait bucket only took cash. I do everything with credit. Seminars were good, few tps here and there, but nothing I didn't know already.

I live relatively close to the Molson Centre so it was easy to drop by. Personally, I was very pleased with the Expo. The entire ice surface was covered with exhibits so I don't see any way additional booths could have been accommodated. As noted the Bait Bucket was extremely busy so there must have been a number of good deals being offered. There is an ATM just inside the entrance so cash was readily obtainable. My darling wife warned me if I came home with any ice fishing gear or related equipment or electronics, it would be the most expensive purchase I'd have made in a long time (her lawyer is on speed dial) so I avoided a number of good deals and took in some of the seminar presentations. Sebastian Roy and Steve Rowbotham put on excellent presentations as did the "old hands" like Bob Izumi and Gerry Heels. Wil Wegman should be congratulated for organizing the show. It obviously exceeded all expectations for attendance and offered up very useful information for both the experienced and novice ice anglers.

Went by at 9 am. Was a good little show. Hopefully grows more each year. Bought a few small items and signed up for perchin for ms with my son. Shout out to ht for handing the kids some free jigs. I imagine if you go in just before it’s over you may get a good deal on the bigger stuff. Anyone looking for an intro pop up. Trombleys has a nice frabill for $169. Tall enuff to stand in.

A few of us are booked with Dunn right outfitters next month so we went there just for the chance to talk to them a bit and also got some good deals....and surprised nobody has mention the amazing butter tarts! Btw thrillhouse that one didn't make it out of your driveway let alone home for the wife!
