I enjoyed the expo as well.

I ended up picking up a spud bar for $30 cash.

I was impressed with the size and the vendors the had! Got to see some tech and gear that I hadn't seen before. Many booths, was nice to see the ofah out.

I didn't watch any of the speakers because I really wanted to scout out some new lakes. Will post a report!

Definitely going again next year

Wish I had the time to get out over the weekend. Christmas parties kept me from going. Were there any really good deals on; I know someone was mentioning the 2 man hut for $169.

Really wish I could have got in on that deal.

Here's what I found, made by a co in N Bay. I'm seriously thinking of getting 1: "Pop-up" don't exactly pop up and are a bit of a PITA. Flip-overs are a bit heavy to drag while walking., This might be just the ticket!!!

You could always get one of these and add a top!LMAO I might be on to something here!

So it looks like most all you guys have wimped out and sit inside with a heater going!! Gone a bit soft, dontcha think???

Maybe they'll throw in a fishing reel with your new hut.

I thought the expo was great for the first year. The speakers were very knowledgeable and answered as many questions as they could.

I picked up a thermos and some new Rah Fish gear. There was curtains set up that made the space look smaller. There is room for additional booths as they can set up in the hallway as well.

It was a good show and I will continue to support.

I’ve owned a couple of the “ telephone booth” huts. First one was a black plastic sleigh with a built in seat. You pulled it out as a sleigh then set it on it’s end and sit inside it. Any wind at all blew it over ...and it was cold. Plus your gear was all over the ice. Moved to one that had some anchors, but still way too cold, uncomfortable and a general pain in the butt.
My advice is to avoid this type of hut. Spring for the extra cash and get a pull over or pop up.
