Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 337 Member No.: 10835 Joined: January 23, 2016	Pretty much all small to medium size tribs are fully locked. Only big tribs will have open water now. Best to wait until its fully frozen over to use a auger like DB mentioned lol. I still plan on chasing some steelheads into the new year until the lakes freezes properly before venturing out on the ice.

I would avoid the credit and like Longshank mentioned Niagra would be your only hope in landing a nice chromer. Some west tribs are opened as well but finding open water is another story.
