Been a while since I posted but, ice season is my favourite I've been lurking on all kinds of forums and sites waiting for the ice to be safe. Yesterday has been one of the clearest days yet to get a good look on the satellite images from the noaa website, so I thought I would share the beautiful site of most lakes being frozen over and simcoes progress.

A buddy and I looked at couch Saturday and it looked very wet still, didn't even go out, even thought I wanted to test the new spud bar out!

This is the website I use, some days there's lots of cloud cover and you can't see anything. Lake Ontario image allows you to see simcoe pretty decently or use the synoptic view to see most of Ontario.

Well looks like ice is being produced! Might not get out until last week of December as the next few days doesn't look too promising to tighten er up. At least on Cook's Bay that is..
