depending on the tear, stitch it up your self, or go to a seamstress. they also sell fabric glues.

the floater suit is put together with stitches, so why not repair it with stitches.

what make is it from? Mustang will repair most damaged suits if it is in "reasonably clean condition". I've heard from some that they may not even charge you for it minus the shipping cost.

It's a Buoy O Boy. I am going to try to get hold of them tomorrow. Thanks for the idea. Cheers

Well if you don’t have any luck with buoy o boy, I would maybe try aqua seal. I use it on waders and it’s fantastic! If it’s a large rip, a patch and aqua seal.

I didnt even think about contacting manufacturer. it is a good idea to see if they can fix it, or if they can shed light on this issue. but if you have to ship the suit to them, it is christmas time (most crazy time for post office), and it will be very expensive to ship, (very bulky)

self repair will be the quickest/cheapest option. but not the highest quality option.

I put duct tape over my rip then sprayed over it with Leak Seal. Same way I fix tears in my portable hut. Been 3 years and still holding. My Tear was at the knee so it takes a beating.

Kind of read that wrong. Thought the suit had died. Anything broken can be fixed, and I've thought about iron on patches to fix tears. Apparently floater suits have a lifespan and they're not as buoyant after a while? If it's old and ripped maybe consider replacing, but, this stuff never goes on sale.
