+1 for the Otter Rod case. Used a gun case for years, much prefer the Otter. Very strong and deep enough you don't have to fold your reel handles down when you put them in like you do with most hard gun cases.

Just checked out the reviews on that Otter case on Amazon......26 good reviews....too late for me....bought the case above....will try it and if I dont like it I will put a rifle in it and buy the Otter.....The Otter case is a bit more but when you need .....you need......simple as that.
