Looking for a good operator on Simcoe to introduce 3 children to the joys and fun of ice fishing - 2- 10 year olds and 1 - 7 years old. Not in favor of some of the huts that have the big rectangular cut outs in the middle, I'm almost positive someone will fall in. Looking for action not big fish, so perch would be great

where are you coming from? If you're on the west side go with J's huts as Rob drills 8' holes every day. No chance of kids falling in and he's on the perch where his huts are.
East side there are a lot guys, but I am not sure who punches holes.
I hope you have great fishing experience with the kids wherever you end up. OTH

Caseys in Port Bolster.
OP is asking "Not in favor of some of the huts that have the big rectangular cut outs in the middle, I'm almost positive someone will fall in."
Does Caseys in Port Bolster (Taj) offer a hut with say 6 or 8 inch auger'ed holes (instead of a big rectangular cutout)? The last few times I used Caseys' hut, I recall I always got the big rectangular hole on the floor, which is NOT an issue with me anyway, and which helps me land the fish if (just in case) I catch a big laker or whitfish:-)
