Looking for a hard case to carry 5 to 6 rods. I'd like it if I could just throw them in and the foam keep them separate. 50 dollars for the one below(gun case) is the best thing I can find for that price range. Does anyone have any suggestions? 36" length approx.

For 50 bucks I think you may have found what you are looking for.

I have an eagle claw rod case and I really like it. My friend purchased them from US and it cost around $100 each including shiping. Not sure what you can get for $50, but if you can budget $100 for a case this is a good choice

I found myself looking for the same thing. That case you found was also my best result of a few hours searching the web. Saw it as basspro but Amazon was cheaper. I haven’t pulled the trigger on it but most likely will.

I was just at Sail in Cambridge and they have a Flambeau one, hard cased like above, foam filled.

I think it was around $50-$60.

Have a peek

I have 7 of those for the better part of 15 years and they are great for storage up to 7 rods per case.

Great for vehicle travelling and even if running out on lake.

maybe a bit bulky but there is zero damgae to any rods.

I now just take one out with 3 rods and stuff the rest with all my fishing tackle etc. Works well.

That's probably the best price I've seen. Canadian tire sells the frabill case for 69.99 holds up to eight combos.
